New Talent British International Youth Music Competition is an annual competition and festival organised by Amy Yuan Academy in association with British Music Society. The Royal Academy of Music Royal Academy of Music is an Official Partner Organisation. This year's competition attracted 406 young musicians from 28 countries. . The Competition aims to offer young people the opportunity to showcase their musical talents, a forum to exchange ideas with young musicians from other countries and cultures and to receive impartial feedback, encouragement and assessment of their performances by Britain’s top music professors and educators. In light of the global impact of Covid-19, we also hope that this competition will serve as a platform where people come together to celebrate their mutual love of music and feel supported and inspired that music will always bring light to our lives and lift us as we find our way through difficult times. . This year, New Talent Competition and Festival offered a series of talks hosted by jurors and guest speakers to participants free of charge.
